So easy to grab and read wherever you are. The red color is a plus, makes it that more attractive.
I have had the Amazon Kindle (I & II), Sony PRS-300, and this Sony PRS-505. I so enjoy the new digital readers out there.I was a book lover before but now I am an absolute avid reader.
Sony's portable PRS-300 comes close but I enjoy a bigger screen. Out of all of these e-readers, I like the Sony PRS 505 the best.
You cannot beat its screen for contrast and easy readability. This e-reader turns pages quickly and is so light that I just throw it in my bag every day.
I can't stop reading.
Looks and operates very nice - only drawbacks are there is no backlight for reading in darken areas and it take forever to load data after you do a sync for new books, music or pictures. Once everything is loaded though, very easy to use and very portable.
I found the Sony to be quite useful in holding many books, especially while traveling. It's wonderful not to have to carry the actual paper copies, and there are many titles to choose from through electronic sources. The only drawback is that, while it has the capability to place a bookmark, it's not effective if there's a table of contents where you'd like to jump to a specific area or topic. This device is geared towards flat, continuous documents.
The Sony Reader PRS 505 has everything you want in a reader. The screen is not too small, the colors are perfect. You can zoom in and out if the lettering is too small. And the e-book comes with a beautiful binder that fits perfectly in any bag.I can recommend this reader to anyone who just wants to read e-books.If you want to edit texts - keep looking.
If you read couple books a week, then a electronic book is a must. Been told that you can but textbook on it. No more having books all over the place. Its easy to read, can make the words as large as you like. So easy to purchase book right at your computer, and your computer is a back up on keeping the books. Join the wave of the future.
